Owned and operated by Jay Nolan, Nolan Woodworking specializes in high quality, custom made, wooden cabinetry and furniture. Cabinetry projects range from small casework to entire homes.

After completing North Bennet St. School’s carpentry program in Boston, Jay spent several years working as a finish carpenter on high-end homes in the Boston area. He then moved to Maine, honed his cabinetry skills in various custom cabinet shops, and now operates out of his cabinet shop in Waldoboro, Maine.

When he’s not busy making cabinets or helping clients, Jay works in a variety of other crafts. He makes custom knife handles and sheaths as well as leather goods like wallets, holsters, cases, and belts.

Jay is passionate about nature and holds a BS in Wildlife Biology from Unity College. When he’s not indoors making beautiful objects, you can find him outside enjoying the natural beauty of Maine with his wife, Robin.
